Two top communicators join Company

Two new Freemen were sworn into the Company at the Guildhall last night:


Matt Young is a founding partner with the strategic communications consultancy Apella Advisors. He was formerly group corporate affairs director at Lloyds Banking Group from 2011 to 2017. Prior to Lloyds he was communications director at Santander UK for 11 years and a board member of the British Bankers Association. He has also served as a trustee for InKind Direct, a charity founded in 1996 by King Charles (then Prince of Wales).


Mark Bunker, Director, Landmark Communications,has over 25 years of experience in internal, external and change communications across a variety of industries. He has worked as Communication Director for several global companies crafting an expertise in leading communications for transformation programmes including four M&As. In 2021, he founded Landmark Communications, his own consultancy dedicated to helping organisations thrive through change using the power of authentic and inspiring communication.
