Congratulations to Dame Sarah Mullally, on the announcement of her appointment as Archbishop of Canterbury. As Bishop of London, Sarah has supported Livery and has very much been at the heart of the City of London's life.

Master Communicator, Jason Groves, commented, 'Bishop Sarah, we will miss you at Livery events and services but warmly congratulate you on your appointment. May I on behalf of our Company wish you every success as Archbishop of Canterbury.'
The former Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for England, started her distinguished career in the NHS in London working at St Thomas' NHS Trust before moving to Chelsea and Westminster NHS Trust, as Director of Nursing. While the focus of media coverage has been on the first woman appointed as Archbishop, an interesting fact about Dame Sarah Mullally for Communicators is that she identifies as being dyslexic, openly describing her difficulties with writing and reading.
She will be installed as Archbishop in March 2026.
