Justine McGuinness was installed as the Master of the Worshipful Company of Communicators on Thursday.

At a ceremony at Grocers’ Hall in the City of London, Jason Groves became immediate Past Master; Jon McLeod was elected Senior Warden, Patricia Hamzahee Middle Warden; Jane Shepherd Junior Warden; and Ben Steele Renter Warden.


Peter Dunphy, Uzma Lodhi, Christopher Makin and Madeleine Weightman were elected as Court Assistants.
Speaking at the dinner, the new Master said: “2026 will be an exciting year for the Company as we continue to grow our membership and our influence. It’s a privilege to have been chosen to lead such a dynamic force for good."

Dame Penny Mordaunt was the principle guest and spoke on the theme of tradition and national identity.

Earlier the company admitted Nick Murray-Leslie, Jos Simson, Jace Tyrrell, Liz Banks, David Moore, Madeleine Hallward, Sarah Garry and Lynne Ashcroft Griffiths as Freemen, while Leon Cook, Sarah Jurado, Karen Ainley, Jackie Janssen, David Moore, Uzma Lodhi, and Jace Tyrrell were enclothed as Liverymen. Maya Ings was admitted as a Future Freeman.
Revd Taylor Wilton-Morgan of Bartholomew the Great was appointed Company Chaplain.
