The Worshipful Company of Communicators came together recently in the City of London Corporation to celebrate a landmark event, with the presentation of our Letters Patent and the unveiling of our new Coat of Arms.
This historical event saw Dame Susan Langley, the Lady Mayor of the City of London - in the presence of Sheriffs and Aldermen - present the Letters to our Master, Justine McGuinness, at Mansion House, supported by Deputy Master Jason Groves, Wardens Patricia Hamzahee OBE FRSA and Jane Shepherd MBE MCIPR, our Clerk, Dr Ian Wingfield and Beadle, Lisa Garland.

The ceremony was a remarkable moment in the history of the Livery movement, with there never before being a Lady Mayor making the presentation to a Lady Master.
We were grateful to Masters and their consorts from across the City for joining us at the event, as well as members of the Company who came to witness this historic event.
After the ceremony, over 200 people joined us for our first ever Annual Livery Banquet at Mansion House, in the stunning surrounds of the Egyptian Hall where royalty, foreign dignitaries and national politicians address the City at formal banquets.
This Banquet, held to celebrate the granting of the Letters Patent, not only celebrated our heritage, but also looked ahead, with ambition, as an unashamedly modern Livery Company.
Uniquely positioned, we aspire to be the Academy for our industry, creating a forum for debate, exploration of ideas and discussion.
Guests heard from our speaker, Chris Curtis MP and Professor Michael Mainelli, Lord Mayor Locum Tenens, and enjoyed music from the Royal Marines Association Ensemble.
Thanks to all involved for making this historic, never to be repeated occasion in the Company's history - held in the presence of the Sheriffs, Aldermen, the City Remembrancer, Chief Commoner, Chamberlain, Town Clerk and other Livery Masters - such a huge success!
