The Communicators joined the United Guilds Service, the annual gathering of the City’s livery movement at a packed St Paul’s Cathedral. When you turn up for a City event dressed as a pencil you might be forgiven for feeling self-conscious but Communicator Jon Woodburn looked relatively normal in Guildhall Yard yesterday. The Shrove Tuesday inter-livery pancake races field saw everything from strawberry, a spider, a plumber in lederhosen and a someone dressed as Tower Bridge.
