About the Event

Join us for an 'In Conversation' event with communications leader, experienced non-executive and Company Freeman, Sarah Pinch. Hosted by Company Freeman Iana Vidal, this will be an opportunity to hear more about the benefits of a non-executive role, how communications professionals can make an impact on boards, and how you can make your search for the perfect position a successful one.

Sarah is MD of Pinch Point Communications, an Independent Advisor to the Senedd, Vice-Chair of Manx Care, Trustee of Bristol Students’ Union, and Chair of the Taylor Bennett Foundation. Starting as a BBC journalist, she has worked in corporate communications since 2000, in house for Christian Aid, Children’s Hospice South West, First Group plc and the NHS.  She founded PPC in 2013 and the agency works across all sectors, specialising in all areas of change management, staff engagement, strategic communication and issues and crisis management.  She was President of the CIPR in 2015 and held a NED position for the HSE for five years, stepping down in August 2020.

Iana Vidal is a policy and public affairs professional, with a passion for supporting people to achieve positive change at a local and national level. She is currently Head of Policy and Government Affairs at Innovate Finance, and has experience working in the charity and non-profit sector on a diverse range of issues including health, justice and education.

Iana is also a volunteer with a number of organisations. She is currently chair of Girls Friendly Society, one of the oldest charities supporting girls and young women in England and Wales.

All proceeds will go towards our Company funds for our journey to livery status.
