Experience parts of Roman London as they are brought to life by the City of London Corporation’s Roman expert, Dr Simon Elliott. His compelling story telling will leave you with a vivid and rich view of the City’s Roman past. Tickets are £30 – £40 per tour, buy all four to secure the discounted price of £110. Explore Billingsgate Roman Bathhouse beneath the cobbled pathways of the Square mile, discovered in 1848 it lies out of sight beneath London’s office buildings. You will see the remains of this fascinating Roman Bathhouse and hear what ancient life in the City was like on this exclusive tour with Dr Elliott. After the tour we will go to The Walrus and The Carpenter pub (which takes its name from a poem by Lewis Carol – Tweedledum and Tweedledee in “Through the Looking Glass”). A table is reserved in the Cellar Bar, guests will need to purchase drinks (or food) at the main bar upstairs. The pub is located at 45 Monument Street, London EC3R 8BU.
